Our story

Born from a simple frustration.

Across every sales team we worked with, the pattern was the same: brilliant people spending most of their week on the least valuable work — scraping lists, copy-pasting research, and guessing at who to contact. The actual selling, the human part, kept getting squeezed.

We started leadagent to flip that ratio. Our autonomous agent handles discovery, enrichment, scoring, and first-touch outreach drafting — continuously, around the clock — so that by the time a human steps in, they're talking to a prospect who's genuinely a fit. Founder & CEO

Rupa Kumari is the founder and CEO of leadagent, where she's on a mission to give every sales team an AI teammate that actually closes the gap between data and revenue. Before founding the company in Pune, Rupa spent nearly a decade in B2B growth and revenue operations, watching talented reps drown in manual prospecting instead of building relationships. That frustration became the seed for leadagent: an autonomous lead agent that finds, qualifies, and warms up prospects around the clock, so humans can focus on the conversations that matter.

An engineer by training and an operator at heart, Rupa is obsessed with the unglamorous details — clean data, honest scoring, and outreach that never feels robotic. She believes AI in sales should earn trust by being transparent about why it recommends a lead, not by hiding behind a black box.

When she isn't shipping features or talking to customers, Rupa mentors first-time founders across India's SaaS ecosystem and is a vocal advocate for more women building deep-tech products. She holds a degree in computer science and is happiest with a whiteboard, a strong filter coffee, and a hard problem to untangle.
